So maybe I'm late to the game but I recently discovered bloglovin and I think it's the best thing ever! It is the easiest way to follow your favorite blogs and find new ones. There is also an app for your phone which is fantastic. Getting an account has made reading my favorite blogs so easy! If you don't have an account yet, go get one and don't forget to follow my blog! I promise you won't be sorry.

This is my new favorite salad mix! I think I love it so much because it has cilantro in it. My Mom purchased it when she was visiting and I've been hooked ever since. However, my last bag had parsley instead of cilantro and I was so disappointed. That's part of the fun with this salad mix though. You never know exactly what mix of herbs you'll be getting.

So, a lot of my favorite blog writers are meeting this weekend for a Catholic Mom's getaway weekend in Austin. It looks like it's going to be fabulous! I would love to attend next time but only if I have a friend going with me. :) I'm way to shy to do something like this myself. You can see more info. at the website here.

You know how I'm doing that whole 30 thing? Well this morning I woke up later than usual and was not feeling motivated to work out. So, I broke one of the big rules of the Whole 30 and weighed myself. But, I have lost six pounds since Monday so that was definitely encouraging and exciting! Whoo-hoo. Let's keep this party going!

Is'nt this the cutest onesie ever? I love it! If you feel so inclined you can send one my way for Xavier. It can be found at the Faith Factory website here. Thanks! ;)

We celebrated the feast of St. Elias the prophet on Sunday with some lemon bars, requested by our Elias. I'm told that if we were in Lebanon, there would have been fireworks and a huge celebration by everyone. Maybe we'll make it there one day for St. Elias day. St. Elias pray for us!

We made it out to the splash park this morning for some water fun. I made sure to arrive right when it opened hoping to miss the crowds, but that didn't last long so we only stayed an hour. We'll have to try again after school starts. One of my children who shall remain unnamed, got in big trouble while we were there. He (ok no, it wasn't Juliette) was upset that another little boy was covering up some of the water so he proceeded to push him and then kick him. Not hard because the little boy didn't cry but I've never been so embarrassed or horrified in my life. I was so shocked because none of my children have ever acted violently towards another child other than during a sibling quarrel. (Just being honest here.) Anyhow, we took care of the situation but I hope never to have anything like that happen again. :/

*Bonus Quick Take
Yesterday morning we took everyone to the museum. As we were walking up to the entrance an elderly gentlemen opened the door for us and said "It's so nice to see such a big family! And you're still young so you are probably planning to have more right?" It was such a nice refreshing comment because we normally hear "are you done yet?", "you know how that happens, right?", "wow, you got your hands full", "don't you have a tv in your room?"
Ahhh, well I'm off to snuggle with hubby and baby and watch a movie! Happy weekend everyone! Don't forget to head over to Carolyn's for more Quick Takes!
