Answer Me This

1. What’s something you've won and how did you win it?

Growing up I can remember entering many types of competitions and winning various prizes for art, crafts, costumes, & dancing.  I can't remember everything I've won but I did find a few photos to share.

I placed 2nd in this costume competition.  (Costume sewed by my Mom)
My sister and I won a prize for our gingerbread house.  Check out those high waisted pants!
My brother Christopher & I after one of many Irish step dance competitions.  I won lots of medals and trophies during my years of Irish step dancing.

2. Do you save old greeting cards and letters, or throw them all away? Why?

I used to save letters back in the day when I had many pen-pals.  Now days I save some Christmas cards from people but only until the following Christmas.  I do have special occasion cards and letters saved from when Gabe & I were dating as well as wedding cards and baptismal day and baby cards for my children.

3. When you’re at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?

Living in Florida I definitely go barefoot!  We have a "no shoe" policy in our house due to the wood and laminate floors.  I do dream of living in a place some day where I actually have to wear socks and slippers.

4. Who’s the most famous person you have ever met?

I'm not really into meeting famous people unless it's the Pope or someone historical or a well-known Catholic figure.  That would be cool.  However, I took an acting workshop from Matthew Morrison when I lived in CA.  I have also seen Vince Vaughn when I was at an outdoor shopping area in CA.  I have also been at a church when Ivan, one of the Medjugorje visionaries, was having an apparition from Mary.  Oh and Jim Caviezel was there too.

5. What has been your best work of art?

Although I did take a few art lessons growing up, I have no artistic talent whatsoever in the drawing/painting department.  I think my best work of art has to have been a yellow baby bird that I drew and entered into an art contest and it won the judge's choice award.

6.  What’s your strongest sense?

Smell.  Always has been and maybe it's gotten stronger since I've been pregnant for the last six years.  Haha.
