Beach weekend Day 2

Saturday morning was beautiful and a perfect beach day!  We headed down to the sand and set up our umbrella.  The water felt SO nice!  I didn't take many pictures because I was too busy playing with the children and enjoying the beach.

After a few hours on the sand we headed up to the hotel for lunch pool side.  Then back to the hotel for showers and naps before 4pm Mass.  

After Mass, and dinner at the hotel the plan was to head over to the pier for some music and fireworks on the beach.  We drove around a bit but all the parking was $10 and there wasn't any off street parking.  There were dark rain clouds in the distance and we could hear thunder.  So we opted out for letting the children play at a nearby playground and then headed back to the hotel for popcorn and a movie just as it started to rain.  Around 9:45 Gabe took all the children down to the beach and they were able to watch the fireworks from our hotel.
