Beach weekend Day 3

Sunday morning after breakfast we headed down to the beach for a stroll.  The children played in the waves as we walked along.  I was dying to join them but wasn't wearing my suit and I was carrying Xavier in the moby.

Aidan had a bad rash on his legs which got irritated by the salt water so we headed up to the pool.  However, that didn't last long because some poop was discovered floating around in the pool  :(  (not from our children) So everyone had to have showers and then we packed up and checked out and headed over to the Ponce De Leon Lighthouse.  I really wish we could have just spent another day playing on the beach.  *sigh*

Anyway, the lighthouse was gorgeous and the museum was awesome and had so much information.  We could have spent a whole day there!  The price was really great too.  $5 for adults and $1.50 for the three older boys.

 Getting ready to climb to the top.  203 steps to the top!  Gabe carried Connor on his back and I carried Xavier in the moby.  It was hot and we were dripping by the time we got to the top.  Definitely a good work out though and the children were great troopers.

We headed home around 1PM eating lunch en route and made it home in time to watch the last half of the soccer match.  Hopefully it won't be too long until we are able to hit the beach again.  :)
