This morning I had planned to make pancakes for breakfast on our electric griddle, but we discovered the power was out due to the big storm the night before. Thankfully we had cereal handy. We headed over to the fort at 9AM and the power was out there too. We were able to get into the fort for free. The fort was so neat and the boys really enjoyed it! After the fort we headed into downtown Fernandina Beach for some ice and ice cream. We walked around a bit down by the harbor and then headed back to camp to the beach. After an early dinner, we got the boys to bed and we headed to bed as well. Friday morning we were up early and the boys started breaking down camp while I cooked some chocolate chip pancakes before heading home.

:-) We went to Ft. Clinch this past weekend. We loved it. I think it is better than the one in St. Augustine. Less locked doors and more cool stairs and passages. :-) Joshua wanted to move in. :-)
