We enjoyed our stay at the Fort Clinch campground. It was a little too hot for camping and we definitely won't go again in June next year. Thankfully we had a box fan that kept us cool enough to sleep at night. Our first night there I was woken up by a racoon rummaging through our garbage and our cooler! Can you believe it? The little rascal can open an ice chest! I chased him away and discovered two chocolate bars missing! We had a huge rain/thunder/lightening storm the first night but we stayed nice and dry and cozy inside our tent.

After dinner we walked down to the little fishing dock on the river to watch boats and we saw some dolphins

Because of the fire ban, we ended up roasting marshmellows over the campstove.
