Melissa was here visiting for the past 4 days which was nice. We had fun and it was nice to have her here to help out with the boys. I'll post some pictures later. Now I gotta start packing for our move. We have three weeks left here.
Tomorrow Kieran turns six months! I can't believe it. He has been doing all sorts of things...sitting up, crawling, and even pulling himself to a standing position a few times. He is very active and tries to keep up with his brothers. The only food he seems to be interested in (and that's just a tiny interest) is bananas. He loves watching us eat, and even tries to grab the food we are eating, but when I try and feed him baby food he is not interested. He did seem to like the noodle from the pasta salad that he found on the floor the other day because he kept munching on it until we took it away. Maybe he just likes grown-up food.
Anyhow, I think Aidan is going to decide when he wants to use the toilet and when he wants to use his diaper. I have been thinking about potty training him again, but just haven't been up to it. Today when I got him up from his nap he said he had to "poop" (the boys say poop for both poop and pee) so I put him on his little toilet and walked out of the bathroom. When I came back in, he had emptied his bladder. So I thought, maybe he'll go on the toilet the rest of the day but he kept having accidents and I didn't feel up to watching him closely today ie potty training so I put back on his diaper. At least he is open to the idea and when I do decide to get down to the nitty gritty I'm sure it will go quite well.
I have been feeling fine. We still need to decide on a name for our little angel up in heaven. I have been bleeding for 7 days now so I know this is not like a normal period. My final thoughts on the subject are that I am very thankful that God decided to take this little one home with him. We have a lot going on and I've been a bit over whelmed by the boys and I would like to get in a little better shape and lose some more weight before God blesses us with another baby.
We had some crazy last minute thoughts yesterday about trying to make it up for the family reunion camping trip in OR in two weeks but sadly I really don't think it's going to work out. I would like to try and plan a visit either up to WA or CA sometime in September before Aidan turns two and we will have to start buying him a plane ticket as well. My sister Catherine is thinking about coming out here for a visit in September which would be great fun!
I am greatly looking forward to the weekend. We don't have any plans except maybe having some people over to watch the world cup on Sunday and maybe a game night Friday or Saturday.
Well, I best be getting back to my motherly duties. It's going to take me some time to figure out this new blog and all its works.
