7 Quick Takes

-1-
We moved up our moving date to next Wednesday.  I am excited but there is so much to do!  I wonder how much packing I'll get done today.  It's all up to the three little guys really and me sticking to packing.  So far this morning they have been very....troublesome.

I am wondering how many little red glass stones I'll find in Aidan's diaper today.  I was on the phone with my Dad yesterday and I came out and found some on his plate.  Then he put one in his mouth and I told him to spit it out and it was gone!  He just swallowed it right before my eyes.  He is too crazy.

Last night was the St. Anne's book club meeting.  I really enjoyed getting out and having some girl time with some great women!  I am doubly reminded how thankful I am to have such wonderful Catholic friends.  The book we read this past month was entitled A Mother's Rule of Life by Holly Pierlot.  It was such a wonderful book and I recommend that every Mom & wife should read it.  If you don't have time to read the book, you could browse her blog here http://www.mothersruleoflife.com/

Right now I am watching the BBC series Lark Rise to Candleford.  I have been ordering them from netflix.  So far I am enjoying it.  There are two seasons and I'm actually watching the first DVD from season 1.  I accidentally ordered the first disc from season 2 and watched part of it before realizing it wasn't the first one so I sent it back and just received the first one in the mail yesterday.  I wonder how long it will take me to complete both seasons?  I love all these types of BBC productions!

Congratulations to our friends Paul & Amanda!  Their little boy Declan arrived yesterday afternoon.  He is so cute!  Melissa sent me a picture of him via phone and I can't wait to see more pictures!  Prayers for a quick recovery Amanda.  Congrats Aunt Melissa & Uncle Andrew on the arrival of your 6th nephew!

Update on Aidan's diaper.  I just found 6 red rocks in his poop.  Three of them were about the size of a penny and three were smaller. It was quite unpleasant dissecting it but I guess it was good practice for the future.  Oh boy!   I guess I'm just glad I caught him when I did.

I still have 24 1/2 pounds to lose to get to where I want to be weight wise.  I have been trying to eat healthier and plan to really start my diet back up again after we move.  I really would also like to try and take a class at the gym on campus.  However, I am 10 lbs down since May which is exciting.  :)  It's the last pounds that are the hardest to lose but I plan to persevere!
