Today is Kieran’s half birthday! He is so cute and getting so big! He weighs 17 lbs now and is the average size for a six month old. He loves his mama’s milk and pretty much refuses to eat any solids yet. The only thing he will eat a bit of is bananas and he loves gnawing on carrots. The reason I was trying to give him some solids was that he is still waking up every three hours at night to eat so I am getting interrupted sleep. Yes, I’ve learned to deal with it but it would be much nicer not to have to wake at night. Hopefully it’ll get better when he starts eating more solids. In the past few weeks Kieran has started to rock on all fours. He is not really crawling yet, but drags himself around. He is sitting now too and it is so cute to see him sitting next to his brothers playing with toys. Kieran has also pulled himself up to standing a few times as well! Once while holding on to daddy’s legs and a few times in his pack n’play. He is such a happy, joyful little guy and is quite content just hanging out.
