It's so nice to have everyone home after two days alone with Xavier. It was a much appreciated and needed break for me for the most part. Xavier had a hard time being the only child in the house though and would follow me around crying. But he was happy as a clam as long as he was in my arms. We enjoyed some nice bonding time.
So, another Monday has come and is almost gone. And it was hectic and crazy like most Mondays but we survived and it wasn't half as bad as last Monday. The thing that helped was switching our laundry day from Mondays to Fridays. I don't know what I was thinking trying to start up a new week with school and everything else AND do laundry too. Crazy me! And yes, I normally get all my laundry done and folded in one day and it usually gets all put away the next. Unless the kiddos help which is nice and then it gets done quite quickly. And they can match and fold socks too!
Well, here are some pictures as promised! And now I'm going to go head outside for the burning of our Christmas tree! Bonfire time and an appropriate way to end the Christmas season on this feast of the Presentation. :) Stay tuned for posts on our holidays and a recent dinosaur birthday party!
