So this week was pretty uneventful. Tuesday I got to go to dinner with some friends for Mom's night out. It was a welcome break in the normal routine and nice to have some fun girly chit-chat. I was also thrilled to find something non-maternity in my closet that fit! Whoo-hoo. :) Wednesday morning I took everyone (except for Connor) to see Rio 2 for the last week of the summer $1 movies. I was the only one who hadn't seen it before and I really enjoyed it. Wednesday afternoon we went swimming over at a friend's apartment. There has been a lot of swimming going on around here. Gabe has been taking the children almost every day for their daily dose of exercise.
Oh, our school books arrived earlier this week and that was very exciting. So far I've really liked everything I've seen after looking over the material. I also ordered Classically Catholic Memory which I think we will be able to fit in nicely. I've been organizing the school room slowly and getting ready to start school either this coming Monday or the following Monday. Inspired by Jessica over at Shower of Roses, I'm going to make all the children some back to school schultutes for their first day of school. It's been fun putting those together.
I just got these in the mail today from shutterfly. I only ordered a few using a gift card I had, to send out to immediate family and close friends. I'm happy with the way they turned out. I think Elias is the only one that I didn't make birth announcements for. :/

And look! I finally have all the children's baptism pictures framed and up on the piano! I hadn't printed out a picture from Connor's baptism so did that along with Xavier's picture.
I'm counting down the days for my Whole 30 to be over. It's been really hard to eat the same foods over and over. Especially with making other food for the rest of the family. I think after this, I'm going to take a little break and add back in some dairy and healthy grains for awhile before starting another Whole 30. I still have such a long ways to go but hopefully by the time Xavier is a year old (and if i'm not pregnant again yet) then I'll be in a good place.
OK, well happy weekend! Hope it's relaxing and enjoyable!
