Birthday Season Recap

Yay!  Our birthday season is finally over!  We've had a birthday each month from August - January!  You can imagine how crazy it's been with all the fall and winter holidays thrown in as well.  Gabe's birthday is coming up in March but of course that will be much more low key.  So thankful that our May baby will split up the birthday season a little bit.

So I just wanted to do a birthday recap and share some pictures and party details since I haven't blogged about them yet.

August 31- Elias turned 6.  He chose a Lone Ranger theme.  We invited a bunch of little boys over for some cowboy fun!  Our snacks consisted of popcorn, peanuts, grapes, puppy chow, chex mix, and root beer candies.  We had root beer and water for drinks.  I did family goodie bags for this party and inside I put minnie packs of playing cards, little squirt guns, bags of "gold" (chocolate candy), cowboy puzzle, cowboy stickers and cowboy paper dolls.

September 15 - Juliette turned 2.  We kept it it fairly low-key and only invited one family over for dinner and cake.  She had a Minnie Mouse theme which she loved.  And it was so fun to actually have a PINK birthday celebration!  :)

October 2 - Aidan turned 5.  He had a Ninja turtle themed party.  We first went to a big indoor bounce place before heading to a park for pizza and cake.  I cut a Ninja turtle mask out of felt for each child.  We had the Ninja turtle colors of red, orange, purple & blue.  Inside the goodie bags was glow in the dark slime, Ninja turtle fruit snacks, green candy, water balloons and Ninja turtle pencils.

November 3 - Connor turned 1.  We usually just do a family celebration for the 1st birthdays of our children.  We spent a few hours at one of the farms in the area for their fall festival.

December 2 - was my birthday.  My friends took me out the weekend  before for brunch which was really nice.  My hubby also made a wonderful breakfast for me on my actual birthday.  Can you tell breakfast is my favorite meal?  :)  I received a vitamix which has been on my wish list for awhile!

January 9 - Kieran turned 4.  He chose a Diego birthday party theme.  We had a fun party at our house.  The games we played were "guess how many animals Diego has rescued" and "animal silent charades."  We made a rain stick as a craft.  Inside the kid's goodie bags I put a baby Jaguar mask, wild animal bookmark, animal stamp, animal balloon, animal crackers, a Diego tattoo, and some candy.  We served a nacho bar for lunch, some fruit and green punch.  The cupcakes were chocolate and I made orange animal melt candies to go on top.  Because of the 100% chance of rain, we planned to visit the local Natural history museum after fun at our house.  We still headed that way even though it hadn't rained yet when it was time to leave and didn't proceed to do so until after the party was over.

And that was it for our birthday season!  Hope you enjoyed hearing about the details and seeing the pictures.  Until next year!  :)
