Wednesday Daybook

Today - October 3, 2012

Outside my window.... raining!!  Muggy and humid.

I am thinking... about plans for the next few weeks before my Mom and sister get here and what needs to get done before baby arrives!

I am thankful... that my mother-in-law came to visit this past week and a half.  It has been so nice to have an extra pair of hands around the house cooking, cleaning and caring for the kiddos.

From the schoolroom... Still staying caught up. :)  Last week I had the boys do extra homework so we didn't have to do school Thursday or Friday.  It worked out nicely.

 From the kitchen... lots of yummy Lebanese food that my mother-in-law has been whipping up.   I know it makes my hubby happy.  :) 

I am crafting...  just need to finish stitching Juliette's name on her sampler.  I started it and the pattern called for a bunch of French knots on the letters that I don't think I like so I may re-do it.  

I am working on...  compiling a list of reading material for our ladies small group.  I have also been working on getting a Catholic Boys Blue Knights Club started.  Our first meeting is going to be October 20th!  I'm just waiting for the materials to arrive in the mail so I can start helping Gabe plan the first meeting!  

I am going went... to Chuy's Mexican restaurant for lunch!  So delicious!  

I am wondering... why Juliette has been such a feisty little girl these past few days.  Perhaps she is having a hard time with fewer bottles and teething.  

I am hoping... these next few weeks won't pass by too quickly.  I still feel like I have so much that needs to get done before baby arrives!

I am praying... for a back-free labor and easy delivery.  

I am reading watching... We have two more episodes left in the first season of Once Upon a Time and we have been enjoying it immensely!  

I am looking forward to... a new little baby!  Can't wait to smell him/her and give those precious cheeks some kisses.  I'm so excited!  :D

Around the house yard... the plants are growing so fast!  I will post pictures soon!

One of my favorite things...   chewing ice.  OK, I know that's weird but lately I really crave crunching on something....either carrot sticks or ice.  

A few plans for the rest of my week... tomorrow taking the kiddos to the Natural History Museum and Friday taking Juliette to get her 1 year pictures taken and will take some pictures with the boys as well.  Saturday morning my mother-in-law leaves and we haven't made any plans for the weekend yet.....

A peek into my day... Hubby and I slept in until 9 this morning!  Did school with the boys and washed a load of cloth diapers.  Mexican restaurant for lunch, picked Gabe up early from school (3PM - he's not feeling well :() and now we are just relaxing around the house the rest of the day.
