38 weeks!

Well, here I am at 38 weeks!  Only approx 2 more weeks until this little person makes his/her debut!  I am SO excited as are the boys!  I am still enjoying being pregnant and have been getting some much better sleep this past week.  The only things I can complain about are mild heartburn, my tummy skin stretching which is pretty painful (but feels better if I sit or lay down,) and getting exhausted more frequently.  I am in great spirits and I think a lot of it has to do with this cooler fall weather.  It has been SO refreshing!  I was telling Gabe the other day I would probably be a much happier person if we didn't live in Florida.  The heat and humidity really get to me.  :( 

I have everything pretty much prepared for the baby.  I just need to make my bed in the special way suggested for a homebirth with two sets of sheets on the bed and some shower curtain liners.  I also need to gather a few more items in my room for the birth such as a flashlight and garbage bags, and organize a few things.  Now I'm just waiting on my Mom and sister who will arrive on Tuesday and then we are good to go!  I think the baby will arrive a day or two before November 1st, but we shall see.  I was really hoping for a November baby in the first place.....now I'm just so excited and want to meet this little babe!  Enjoy my belly pic and I'll be sure to keep you posted!
