Aidan's dragon cake
Elias's castle cake
The birthday boys
Snacks were rainbow fruit kabobs, pigs in a blanket, castle & crown shaped sugar cookies, cheese& crackers, and chips
Most of the knights and the princess
The first game was kind of like hot potato Gabe wrapped up a prize (a cool heavy gold old fashioned key) in a bunch of grocery sacks. The kids all stood in a circle and we played some music. When the music stopped whoever was holding the roll of bags would take on off and then continue passing it until the last person unwrapped the prize.
Next we did a craft and decorated plastic goblets with self adhesive jewels. Then we served red sparkling cider in them. The boys & Juliette's goblets
Next game was outside - we played ringtoss.
Then we played "queek" which is an old game that kids used to play in the Medieval times. The children had to throw on rock onto a black and white checkered board, but before throwing their rock they had to name the color it would land on. Points are awarded accordingly
After the games, I read the kids a short story about St. George slaying the dragon and then we slayed our dragon pinata!
Singing happy birthday to the boys
Gifts
Goody bags I made for all the guests.
