Juliette at 12 months

Such a cutie pie, isn't she?  She has 7 teeth at 12 months;  4 on top and three on the bottom.  Juliette usually takes one nap a day, but sometimes she will still take two.  She loves her blankie, stuffed animals, and her thumb!  She talks up a storm too and will hold a conversation which is so cute and funny to hear.  Juliette will also plop down on the floor and read to herself.  She loves to put toys and other items in and out of containers and this can entertain her for quite some time.  Juliette loves music and will start dancing and clapping whenever she hears anything upbeat.  She loves Daddy and begs him to hold her the minute he walks in the door from work.  Juliette insists on feeding herself and likes to try using a spoon even though most times the food ends up in her lap.  The first thing she does when we take her out of her high chair after washing her up, is to run back over to her chair and eat any of the food that has fallen into the seat!  It is quite funny to watch.  Juliette still loves her bottles, and is slowly transitioning to drinking warm milk.  Hopefully her bottle phase will be over soon.  Juliette pats herself on the chest when we say grace and she enjoys singing along to the hymns in church.  She says "dada", "bye"( and waves her hand), "Elias", "uh-oh" and "mama".  She loves to play with her big brothers and wants to be involved in anything they are doing including sword fighting.  Juliette is also very active and definitely keeping us on our toes!  She loves to be out and about and is a great shopping companion for mommy.  Can I just say we love having a girl?!  :)
