October Daybook

Today - October 18, 2012

Outside my window.... definitely warmer than yesterday.  Sunny and a little muggy.  I don't think it got above 75 yesterday...it was so nice and cool and cloudy all day.

I am thinking... how nice a nap sounds.  Juliette was up at 4:30 for some reason and Gabe brought her in our bed and she probably talked and moved around for about an hour before falling back asleep.

I am thankful... for my friend Jenn watching the kiddos for a few hours this morning so I can have some peace and quiet.  I also got a few errands done.

From the schoolroom... finishing up week 12 and having fun with fall crafts.

From the kitchen... leftover pumpkin pie from yesterday

I am creating... fall crafts!  Two days ago I made little acorn wreaths with the boys!  They are so cute!

I am working on... getting everything crossed off that "to do before baby list."  Also trying to come up with ideas of projects I can do while I rest in bed after the baby is born.  Maybe finish filling in the boy's baby books?

I am going... to go pick up the kiddos here shortly and bring them back for lunch.  Hopefully we'll all get some good rest in this afternoon.

I am wondering... how much longer I will be pregnant!  Although I am perfectly happy still being pregnant, I'm curious when this little one will make his/her arrival!

I am hoping... that Juliette will get over her little runny nose (due to teething) and that the boys will get over the weird coughs they have had the past two weeks.  (Only noticeable when they start running around and getting very active.)

I am praying... for my Mom's ankle to heal quickly before her visit next week and for my Dad.

I am reading... just finished reading Don't Drink the Holy Water which has been on my night stand for awhile.  I just put a couple fiction books on hold at the library so I'll have something to read while I'm resting in bed after the baby is here.

I am looking forward to... meeting my baby!  I can't stop thinking about it.  :)

Around the house... clean newborn baby clothes in blue & pink.  Also two big garbage bags of clothes to take to the Goodwill drop off.

One of my favorite things... fall weather, & smells.  It truly does refresh and soothe the soul!

A few plans for the rest of my week... Saturday we are hosting our first Blue Knights Boys Club meeting.  My boys can't wait!  Sunday, church and probably cleaning up the house a bit for my Mom and sister's visit next week.

A peek into my day... peace and quiet....until 12!  Then lunch and naps and celebrating St. Luke's feast day with cupcakes at the neighbors.
