2014 SHEAF Homeschool Science Fair

May 10th was our homeschool science fair and my three older boys participated.  We had a very small turn out this year due to so many people being busy with other activities but my boys still had a great time.  All the parents voted on their favorite projects and Kieran received a 2nd place ribbon!

Elias's project was entitled "Talking in a Tube" and he learned how sound travels through a closed space.

 He drew this picture for his poster.  Isn't it great?  I'm always so amazed by any type of art work, especially from my children because I am such a poor artist.

Kieran's project was entitled "Sandy Water" and he learned how sea salt is made.

Aidan's project was "Musical bottles" and his question was how does pitch depend on the amount of water in a container.
