March & Lent

Wow, so I've taken quite a long hiatus from blogging.  I guess you could say I took Lent "off" although that was not really my intention.  It's just that for me that the longer I don't blog, the harder it is for me to get back into it because I don't know where to start!  Nothing too exciting happened during March - we worked hard to finish up our school year which we finished before Easter - yay!  Gabe was swamped with writing his dissertation, preparing for his defense, and teaching (stressful).  We also attended our semi-annual homeschool camping trip which was awesome!  Our Lent started out full of intention and purpose and we soon discovered that God had additional small tribulations and trials for us that we strove to overcome.  Maybe next Lent I won't plan so many Lenten goals and just try to take what is thrown at me more gracefully.  Here are some pictures from our March.
