Easter 2014

Holy Saturday was a busy day for us!  We finished the last of the cleaning, dyed Easter eggs, and did some last minute errands.  I also filled the kid's Easter baskets and filled the Easter eggs for our backyard hunt.  I headed out to play the 8PM vigil Mass while Gabe made resurrection cookies with the children and put them to bed.  I definitely questioned my sanity during the long vigil mass with it being so late, being 35+ weeks pregnant, and a cold/allergies coming on, but thankfully I got through it and was home by 11!

Easter morning Gabe's parents and brother arrived about an hour before we had to leave for Mass.  They took the red eye out from CA and must have been positively exhausted upon arrival.  We managed to take a few pictures of the kids before leaving for Mass.

After Easter Sunday Mass, the children joined in the church Easter egg hunt and we took a few family pictures.  I couldn't believe that it was actually chilly and cloudy all day Easter Sunday!  Very unexpected for a Florida Easter!

Color coordinated everyone this year with some Navy Blue.

After Mass, we went to the Hilton for a wonderful buffet Easter breakfast.  Sorry, no pictures there.  Finally back at home the kids were so excited to get their Easter baskets and have another Easter egg hunt!  We played outside in the afternoon before ending the evening with a bonfire and pizza dinner.
