Simple Women's Daybook

Today - July 2, 2013

Outside my window....  cloudy, humid and very wet.  It's been raining almost non-stop since yesterday.

I am thinking... about my friend (my sister's sister-in-law) who just had their fourth baby this morning!  Also that Connor will be 8 months old tomorrow!

I am thankful... for all the help from my mother-in-law

From the schoolroom... Just did a lot of organizing and tidying yesterday.  It looks so much better.  All the kid's new books are on the shelf waiting for the new school year.  :)

From the kitchen... spaghetti and meatballs for the kids.  Grape leaves simmering on the stove (yum!) and a devils food cake with whipped cream and fruit chilling in the fridge!

I am creating... nothing ATM

I am working on... potty training Juliette!

We are going... to the UF 4th of July celebration tomorrow.  Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't rain.....

I am wondering... if I will be able to lose ten more pounds in July.  I lost 18 this month!  So many more to go.....

I am hoping... that Gabe will start feeling better real soon.  2nd day of antibiotics   I haven't seen him this sick for this long since we've been married....

I am praying.. for my sister and her husband.  They are packing up and moving to Austria for three years so my brother-in-law can attend school.  It's a big change and big decision.  Praying for peace of mind and safe travels for them.

I am reading... the Seton homeschool handbook

I am looking forward to... seeing my family in Texas in August

Around the house... My mother-in-law has really helped me keep things tidy.  And I've been organizing a different room each day.

One of my favorite things... Connor's cuddles

A few plans for the rest of my week... tomorrow fireworks and music, the 4th a BBQ and pool party at a friend's house, Saturday morning is the boy's archery lesson and then we are heading to the coast and spending the night!  I'm so looking forward to the fresh coast air and the beach.

A peek into my day...
