Today - February 5, 2013

Outside my window....  high 60's partly cloudy   

I am thinking... about camping this weekend.   Connor and I both have colds.  :(  If we get too sick, we'll probably stay home with Juliette while Gabe takes the older three boys.  

I am thankful... for a wonderful relaxing weekend.  It was the most relaxing weekend ever!  So nice to do absolutely nothing except hang out together as a family.  :)

From the schoolroom... older two boys are painting while the youngest nap.  Today is art day.  Later this afternoon we are going to make Valentine's Day cards.  

From the kitchen... cold coffee waiting to be made into iced coffee.  However, with my current cold some nice warm coffee sounds delicious.  

I am creating... a paint by number picture of a violin with flowers, a piano and sheet music.  It's going to be so pretty when it's finished.  

I am working on... putting together lists of items for the kid's Easter baskets.  I don't want to be leaving everything to the last minute this year.  It also would be nice not to have to worry about Easter baskets during Lent.  :)

I am going went... to the dentist yesterday afternoon and I was there for THREE hours!  However, it is at a community college so I should have expected it to take awhile.  Thankfully I was able to get some cheap x-rays done and have the dentist look at my cracked baby tooth.  He said he thinks it will need to be pulled and replaced but since it's not giving me any pain right now it doesn't have to be done immediately thank goodness!  I am guessing that the root died because the excruciating pain that I had during Christmas break is now gone.  

I am wondering... how I'm going to live without any sweets during Lent.  Especially chocolate   It's going to be hard.  When I'm having a bad day and I eat a piece of chocolate it always makes things better.  I guess I'm going to have to turn to prayer instead.  ;)  

I am hoping... that my amazon orders will arrive this week.  I ordered a DVD on St. Patrick to give the kids for St. Patrick's Day and a book on St. Valentine for Valentine's Day.  

I am praying... for my Mom

I am reading... blogs!  I've found all these great blogs lately. I really enjoy peeking into other people's lives via their blogs.  :)  Nice to see other Mamas in the same position I am.  It's inspiring and encouraging.  

I am looking forward to... a weekend out in nature with my family and some friends.  :)

Around the house... that pile of stuff to donate?  Well, Gabe just came home on his lunch and took it to the thirft shop!  Whoo-hoo!  Nice to get that checked off the "to-do" list.  

One of my favorite things...  Connor's baby giggles.  They are adorable.

A few plans for the rest of my week... school, making and sending out Valentines, packing for camping, and camping!  Oh and try and get well!
