Xavier recently started walking! He can stand up in the middle of the floor and will take a few steps until he decides he's not brave enough to go anymore and then speed crawls the rest of the way to his destination. I'm sure he'll have it down by his 1st birthday though, which is fast approaching!
Xavier is now eating mostly table food. He loves it all, and we have yet to find something he doesn't like. His nursing sessions are getting shorter and fewer though. I feel like he nurses now mostly for comfort but I'll take it!

Xavier's funny habit is pinching. He does little tiny pinches whenever his little paws come in contact with my skin. He does it while nursing, or comes over and stands beside my chair while I'm doing school with the boys and pulls up my shirt and starts pinching my hips or stomach while sucking on his fingers. It's funny, and adorable and painful and annoying all at the same time. Xavier is not a thumb sucker, but a two finger sucker. And thank goodness he's not attached to any blankets like his older two siblings are.
4.
Xavier has FINALLY started enjoying his baths. I thought this day would never come. He has had a huge fear of the bathtub ever since being born. His poor little legs would shake and he would scream and scream during his baths up until very recently. I'm so relieved he's finally reached the point where he thinks baths are fun. So much so, that he decided to hop back in the tub the other night (after I'd already dried him and put on his diaper) to join his siblings. Thank goodness I hadn't dressed him yet although that sure would have made for a cute picture!

Xavier has figured out how to turn around and scoot backwards off a couch, bed, or stairs. It's so funny how they figure these things out themselves at such a young age, isn't it? He enjoys going in and out the back door to the yard to explore and often comes in with a piece of bark or a small rock in his mouth. But when I say in a stern voice "Xavier, what's in your mouth?" He spits it out into his hand to show me. Cracks me up every time.

Xavier loves his siblings and really misses them when they're not around. He especially loves his older brother Elias and will sometimes go to him but not anyone else. When Xavier hears Gabe or I calling out to one of the children, he will try and imitate us. It's pretty cute.
7.
Xavier loves taking selfies and gets so excited when I flip around my camera phone and he can see himself. He smiles so big! He also loves skyping or face timing and scoots over as fast as he can when he hears the ringing. Ooof our babies are going to be so "social media-ized when they grow up!
And there ya go. Head on over to Kelly's for more quick takes!
