Our First Easter back in Cali

I have been wanting to blog for awhile....especially about our Easter.  But every time I sit down at the computer I usually end up just reading blogs instead of actually writing for my own blog!

Anyhow, we had a lovely Easter.  My brother Chris flew over from Texas to visit and the kids all really enjoyed having him here.

The kids opened their Easter baskets first thing Easter morning.

My caption for this picture on Instagram was "What's it going to be like when we have 12?"  I could barely fit six baskets in the frame!  Lol!

Let's take a closer peek, shall we?

All my pictures of the kids opening their baskets are quite blurry as you can imagine.  :)

Xavier's first Easter!  <3

We had some friends over for a quick brunch before heading off to the 12:30 PM Mass at our parish.  I have a cute picture of some of the kids, but I probably shouldn't post it since I haven't asked her for permission.  And since we were in such a hurry I forgot to take any pictures of the delicious food!

Family photo!  I'll blow that up extra large for ya!  ;)

So, we headed off to Mass where we met my in-laws.  After the service, we headed back to our place and prepped for an early dinner.  But first we had an Easter egg hunt of course.

And some cute pictures of the kids

Our outside set-up.  We had American (grilled asparagus, ham, scalloped potatoes, marshmallow cream salad)

And Lebanese cuisine (kefta, chicken & meat kabobs, tabouli, hummus, & babaganosh)
Everything was delicious.  I forgot to take a picture of the desserts!  Chocolate egg cookies and a bunch of Armenian sweets and homemade baklava courtesy of my wonderful hubby.

Xavier enjoyed his tabouli

It was chilly enough for a fire

All in all a very beautiful and relaxing day (once we sat down to dinner ;)!  He is risen!  Happy Easter!
