So, hubby and I are on the way to Las Vegas with our sidekick Xavier. Gabe was able to get two days off work (woot!) and I desperately wanted meet up with our good friends from KY who are there for a conference. Last night hubby dropped the other five kids off at my mother-in-laws. We're going to try and make a little getaway out of it. Hopefully Xavier will behave so hubby and I can get some much needed quality time. :) It's only a four hour drive and my brother-in-law is kindly letting us stay at his place. We're coming back Saturday morning so we'll be back in time to celebrate Palm Sunday with Gabe's family. Today we are going to hang out with our friends and tomorrow Gabe and I plan on doing a little sightseeing at Hoover Dam and maybe a hike somewhere.
Life has been good. We've been busy and I'm really looking forward to finishing up school and summer break! The boys are almost done with a few of their subjects and should have everything completed at the latest by the end of May. It would be nice to be finished before May though because it's going to be a busy month so we'll see.
Well, baby is awake and wants some breakfast! I'll try and be back tomorrow for 7 Quick Takes!
