Has been crazy, stressful and hectic to say the least. We got back Sunday morning from Jacksonville at 3 AM. I am still getting over this horrid cold....still got a cough and lots of mucus. :( UGH! Today I finally feel like I'm getting better. Slowly but surely. The boys are a lot better too but they still cough a bit after running around. Anyhow, my house is a complete disaster. I am STILL doing laundry that I started Monday. There's a lot of laundry to be done after an 11 day trip with six people! I'm also trying to get all the winter stuff separated from the summer so I can get that put away and I need to switch out some sizes. That probably won't happen until next week though.
Saturday is our big St. Patrick's Day Party/Gabe's birthday party that we are hosting. There will be about 22 children and 16 adults. Boy oh boy. Today my number 1 priority is getting the house tidy and to start cleaning. Tomorrow I will finish cleaning and do some baking and food prep. We're making corned beef and cabbage, Irish soda bread, green punch, roasted red potatoes and shepherd's pie and shamrock sugar cookies and strawberry short cake per Gabe's request. Yesterday I got out to get a bunch of decorations and party supplies. I did also ask everyone that is coming to bring a side so I'm sure we'll have plenty of food. We're going to get the garage all nice and straightened out and hopefully we'll be able to all sit out there.
Now on top of all this, I'm having horrible breast feeding problems again. Literally very little milk and Juliette absolutely REFUSES to take a bottle. It's gotten pretty bad and her diaper is so orange from her concentrated pee. She FINALLY drank an ounce of formula yesterday and an ounce this morning after a long time of literally forcing it in her mouth. :( It makes me so sad but what can I do? If she doesn't get some liquid in her we'll have to take her to the hospital for an IV because she'll be so dehydrated. She is also sick and has a low fever and if she doesn't get the liquids she won't get better. (Aidan just pooped all over the floor because he didn't get to the toilet in time - brb ) Oh my...ok that's taken care of. Sometimes I feel like all I do all day is wipe poopy bottoms and sometimes like now I feel like I just can't go on. Anyhow, please pray that Juliette will start taking more fluids. She has loved avocado and rice cereal with formula as well as sweet potatoes. Hopefully that will help to start fatten her up a bit.
OK, well I haven't eaten breakfast yet and I'm starving! I'll do a post later for Jewels - she's 6 months today.
