So we are home sick! That is everyone except Gabe. He didn't catch it (yet) because he has been working and not home around the boys. I haven't got it too bad yet and it is probably wishful thinking that I hope it will stay that way. Poor baby Kieran has a horribly runny nose, wakes up every morning with lots of mucus in his eyes and has a bad cough. It is hard for him to sleep and nurse. Aidan just came down with a stuffy/runny nose today and Elias has been stuffy/runny for a few days now. Prayers please that we will recover quickly. Especially since my sister will be here Tuesday to visit and I had some fun things planned.-2-
I'm bummed that we won't be able to attend the Young Marrieds Group game night tonight. :( I was really looking forward to it. I still feel ok but I don't want the boys getting other children sick.-3-
Last night's book club meeting which I hosted at our house went very well. Thank you hubby for taking care of the boys. It was a nice quiet evening with some wonderful conversation with some great women!-4-
Elias's birthday is sneaking up on me too fast. I decided today not to do a party. We've had too much going on and since I still hadn't planned it I guess we'll wait until next year. However, I still want to do a fun day for him and celebrate. He has been telling everyone he wants a cake, balloons and presents.-5-
I finally did sign up for the women's gym and it has been nice to work out these past few days. I've been leaving the boys in the kids club while I work out and I have a feeling that it's maybe where they picked up this cold. I have 21 days to try out the gym and although I really am enjoying it, I can't justify paying $50 a month when I could go to the UF gyms for free. I think I'm going to have to cancel and start going on campus. I just hope it'll all work into our schedules since it is a bit of a drive from our new house. :( I'm bummed because I was looking forward to having Lorrie as my workout buddy.-6-
Last week I was having a really hard time getting the boys to sleep during their naps. Aidan would play with toys or he and Elias would talk and laugh. Then I tried putting Aidan to sleep first but that didn't work either. So yesterday I put Aidan for a nap in the crib and he slept because he had nothing else to do. It worked again today too! Yay! I was getting really worried because the boys still need their naps and I still need my quiet hour.

Please pray for my sister Melissa that she will have a speedy recovery from her laparoscopic surgery which was yesterday. Her doctor successfully removed a cyst which was the size of a baseball and cleaned up some of the endometrial growth. Praise be to God that she has no damage to her reproductive organs!
