Today - October 14, 2013

Outside my window....  cool, breezy 79 degrees.  Just lovely. 

I am thinking... about Thanksgiving plans which are non-existent at the moment

I am thankful... for cool weather. 

From the schoolroom... a fairly tidy schoolroom compared to last week.  Oy ve! 

From the kitchen... leftover brownies made with coconut oil.  I think I prefer the taste of butter. 

I am creating... a cross stitch baby sampler for Connor.    (Still) 

 

I am working on... figuring out All Saints Day costumes with the kids

 
We are going... to get back to school here in a minute.  I've been enjoying a much needed quiet time during naps this afternoon. 

I am wondering... when Elias's ants will arrive.  He was gifted an ant house for his birthday and I sent off for them a couple weeks ago.

I am hoping... that Juliette will get over this little cold that Gabe gave her that I gave him.  And hoping the other kids don't catch it....

I am praying... for my sister during the last few weeks of her pregnancy

I am looking forward to... the holidays

A few plans for the rest of my week... small group meeting tonight (we are going to read and discuss Lumen Fidei over the next few sessions) and teaching a piano lesson Thursday.  Other than that, just homeschooling.  I'm looking forward to a relaxing well free of activities. 

A peek into my day... shopping this morning, some school and much needed relaxing this afternoon.  :)  Windows open, cool breeze coming through and my yummy smelling candle lit.  I need to get back to the laundry though, and do the dishes...  Happy week to you!
