We had a crazy busy but fun weekend! Saturday we attended a baptism and after party then headed home to clean our house from top to bottom for our house warming party which was Sunday. We attend the 9AM Mass and asked Fr. David if he was available to head over to our house in the afternoon for a house blessing! Fortunately for us, he was free and he arrived around 1:30. The boys cozied up to him right away and enjoyed playing with and talking to him. People started arriving around 1:45 when Fr. started the house blessing. We had a fun ratio of adults to kids, 16-22! My boys enjoyed playing with all their friends and it was nice to visit with most of our friends too. I didn't take any pictures, but a great time was had by all.
Now we are back to a normal week and schedule, yay! It's hard when we are off our normal routine and the children don't nap at their normal times. Someone is always fussy by the end of the day. We started school up again this week in our new school room! It's nice to have a separate room designated for school. I'm just waiting for our big wall calendar to arrive in the mail and then I'll take some pictures! I guess I also should organize the baskets and shelves and I need to move a few things around.
Tomorrow I'm meeting Gabe at Mass on campus at noon for the feast of the Annunciation and then we're going out to lunch afterward. Juliette will be 11 months tomorrow too and I'll be sure to post her 11 month pictures and update! I can't believe she will be 1 in only four more weeks. Elias's birthday is coming up very quickly so I'm trying to plan that. This coming weekend we are going to try and do some fun things. There is a civil war expo in the morning, and Gabe is hoping to take the boys to a circus in the afternoon and then we'll be attending a party in the evening. Sure makes for a busy Saturday! I really would like to get back to the beach one of these weekends as well.
Here's to a great rest of the week!
