Well, we got one more day here before we head up North. I have so much to do! I haven't even started packing yet. That will probably be an all day job tomorrow. I did all the laundry today and it did take all day so I couldn't do much else. Our flight is scheduled to leave at 7AM from Jacksonville (1 1/2 hrs drive away) so we'll probably have to leave here by 4 AM to make it in time. Yikes, that means getting up at 3AM. Ahhhh!
We are sadly all under the weather except for Gabe & Juliette. The boys and I have runny/stuffy noses and a bad cough. A couple of the boys have been running low fevers too. Here's to hoping we'll feel better soon! I know we're going to have some hurting and upset kids during take off and landing on the airplane. Aidan has been complaining of an ear ache. I didn't know if going to the doctor would help....so we didn't go.
Yesterday we drove the 40 minute drive out to our parish for Mass. We had been debating whether or not to go because of all the sickness in our family. After getting home from mass we relaxed at home the rest of the day which was really nice. Then our friends brought us take-out for dinner which was super awesome.
Tomorrow morning I have a haircut and I'm SUPER excited. My hair has gotten SO long and I'm so sick and tired of post-partum hair loss - it has been coming out all over the place. Hopefully I'll get a nice short layered cut to my shoulders. We also have a few errands to finish up at the mall tomorrow night after Gabe gets out of school.
I just sent an invite out to all our friends for a St. Patrick's Day Party & Birthday party for Gabe on St. Patrick's Day! We're going to be making a big Irish dinner. Looking forward to the fun and fellowship while celebrating one of my favorite saints!
I'm off facebook for Lent except for Sundays when I'll be uploading pictures from the week, mainly for my relatives. It was just a spur of the moment decision the day before Lent started. It hasn't been too hard for me to keep off and I have been much more productive and am spending more time with the children which has been fun. I'm also giving up coffee, alcohol and sweets so hopefully I'll stick through it all.
Well, I better get back to folding the laundry so I can get to bed. I have been extremely tired the past couple weeks by 8:30 or 9 and tonight isn't any different. Toodles!
