So this weekend we did a whole bunch of not much. It has been nice especially since we all mostly have a little cold - stuffy noses and a cough. :( No fun. Gabe hasn't gotten it yet but if he's going to catch it, I hope he does soon because we are going on our 2 night anniversary trip next week! I am just thankful I'm sick this week instead of next and hope to be better by then. Yesterday morning we drove around to some garage sales and all we ended up purchasing was a wooden dog puppet for 25 cents. The boys were pretty good sports just staying in the car while Gabe ran out and looked. I have to say though I'm pretty disappointed with the garage sales around here. After boys napped we did some errands and then Gabe and I went to bed early which was nice. This morning I played and sang for Mass. Thankfully I still have my voice because I have a feeling I'm going to lose it tomorrow due to my cold. Gabe stayed home and did stuff around the house (I have the best hubby) and then after the boy's naps we went swimming. Yes, the boys still wanted to go even though they were under the weather and it felt good to be out in the sun and the water was the perfect temperature. Had a quick frozen Amy's pizza dinner with carrots, cucumber, humus and crackers, raspberries and strawberries. Now Gabe is at Mass and the boys are "cooking" with their wooden food and I just popped in St. Patrick for them to watch. Tomorrow Gabe is planning on going in to work and maybe will only work half day. No big plans for the rest of the week. I have a midwife appointment Tuesday. I saw this tiny baby yesterday at the store and it made me excited to have a wee babe again. I can't wait to meet our little girl and Gabe and I have been wondering what she will look like. I also have to make some time this week to go get fingerprinted and fill out some paperwork because I am volunteering for a VBS program in August. Ok, well enough with my rambling. Happy Memorial Day!
