So, my cold has finally caught up to me. I had a feeling something was coming on the past few days. I've had a sore throat and did not feel well yesterday. This morning I woke up with a stuffy and runny nose. It's not too bad and hopefully it will stay this way. I am thankful that I'm getting sick now, rather than in 2 weeks when Gabe and I are going on our anniversary trip.

The past few mornings it has been so nice out. Not too hot and nice and breezy so we have been playing outside. However, this morning it was already 73 and humid by 9 o'clock so we didn't go out this morning. We need some rain to cool things down. There is only 30% chance of thunderstorms today but hopefully a short storm will blow by.

This weekend is Memorial Day weekend. We were thinking about going to the beach Sunday after Mass but since I'm not feeling that great we'll probably just stay home. We have lots of odd and end jobs that need to be done around the house as well as grocery shopping and errands, cleaning and organizing. I was hoping to go to some garage sales on Saturday but I guess we'll just have to see how I'm feeling.

Last night book club was canceled due to lack of attendance. Sadly, interest in it seems to be waning. I have been enjoying keeping up on the book list though and have completed several other books in between. We canceled our TV because we weren't watching much anymore. We've enjoyed spending our time reading and watching movies and sometimes playing games. I also would like to work on a few more arts and craft projects over the summer.

The boys have been spending the past week or so playing with their new wooden Melissa and Doug play food that Teta sent. Now all they need is a little kitchen which my mother-in-law intends to purchase for Elias's birthday. They love playing kitchen and preparing food. Now I just need to make room for the kitchen in their bedroom. I have been thinking of some ways to re-organize their bedroom.

Elias has been riding his tricycle so well. I think he's ready for a bike and all he has been talking about is getting a green bike for his birthday! I don't know where he got the idea, but we are going to try and find one for him and Aidan will start riding the tricycle.

I have been having fun making a baby registry for our baby girl and looking at girl clothes on-line. They are all so cute and I can't wait to start putting my little girl in dresses!
