Good Friday we drove up to Ocala (1 hour away) in the morning for our ultrasound. We were there early, so I got in early which was nice. They are all business at this radiology place and the associates were not very friendly. However, we were thrilled to find out the good news that we are expecting a baby girl. They never say they are 100% percent sure, but the ultrasound technician said, "Do you see those three white lines? That usually means it's a girl; it's pretty obvious." We are now thinking of names! After the ultrasound we headed to Sams Club for a look around and then over to a friend's house. We followed them from their house to a pregnancy center at 12 pm where we did the stations of the cross outside. Back to the house for lunch and playtime and then a little before 3 we headed over to their church for the Good Friday service. Elias & Aidan, (who hadn't napped) both fell asleep on me, and Gabe was busy with Kieran so I was stuck sitting most of the time. After the service, we drove back to our friends for a delicious soup supper before heading home.
Holy Saturday morning we dyed Easter eggs with the boys. While I was preparing the dyes, Gabe took the boys outside and made a little volcano with vinegar and baking soda.
Snack time
We filled eggs with candy
Decorated for Easter
And I went to Mass to play and sing for the Easter vigil.
