Happenings

So my first midwife appointment went very well yesterday.  The midwives are so sweet and friendly.  They came to my house and we did paperwork, drew my blood and even found the baby's heartbeat for a little before he swam away from the doppler.  One of the midwives brought along a kids doctor kit which the boys loved.  They felt like they were participating.  It was so relaxing and I'm really excited about a homebirth this time around.  At the end of April we are going to have a big ultrasound done to make sure everything's fine with the baby and possibly find out the sex.
I have so much to do this week!  I have a list of meals I want to make to put in the freezer for Gabe to have while we are gone.  We have no food in this house and I desperately need to go grocery shopping.  I keep putting it off though because I am still getting over this cold and I don't know if I'll have the energy to take care of the boys while I'm out.  I also need to start practicing my music for Sunday's Mass.  Then I will get a break for three weeks.  I just did all the laundry so I should probably start packing.  Mom says it's been pretty cold back home so I'll be packing winter stuff.  I guess I'll wait to switch out the winter for summer clothes after we get back from our trip.  We have quite a few errands to run as well.  I just don't want to do that with the boys either so I'm waiting until Gabe has some time.  I do need to do a few though so Gabe can open some gifts for his birthday before we leave for WA.
I will try and do some posts on the boys soon so I can keep up to date with what they are learning and doing.  I better get the rest of my day planned!
