A Daybook

It's been so long since I last posted a daybook!  Perfect way to start the week, eh?

Outside my window.....  The sun hasn't risen yet so it's cool and dark.

I am thinking....about what needs to be added to my "to-do" list this week

I am thankful....for cooler weather on the way.  The heat the past couple weeks has been cray to the Z!  Also thankful that hubby's work trip was shortened down to just one night this week instead of three.

From the schoolroom....Ready to start another week of school.  Hoping to finish our first quarter before Christmas and the baby arrives.

From the kitchen....some freshly brewed coffee and honey nut drop cookies my hubby made yesterday to take to the boy's piano workshop.

I am creating....a fun fall 1000 piece puzzle with the older boys.

I am working on....growing a baby.  Almost 30 weeks!

We are going....We went to Disneyland early Friday morning last week.  It was great to hang out there a few hours and beat the crowds.  I think we'll have to do that again before our passes expire in February.  I am excited for all the Christmas decor to go up after Halloween!  The funny thing was.... We finally convinced our 5 year old to go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.  And then when we were almost to the end there was a traffic jam and a bunch of the boats stopped mid-ride.  We sat down there in our boat for about 30 minutes before they decided they had to evacuate us.  I guess there had been boat trouble up ahead.  We did get a bunch of fast pass tickets due to that mishap and I'm hoping our 5 year old will agree to go on again just so he can see the end of the ride.  Moral of the story?  Listen to your 5 year old.  Lol.

Juliette got to dance with Mary Poppins (she's in the purple shirt)

I am wondering....what our sixth son will look like.  Probably just like all the rest, right?  :)

I am hoping.... my parents will be able to move closer to us!

I am praying....for my family and some special intentions

I am reading..... Catholic Digest

I am looking forward to.... carving pumpkins tonight with Gabe and the kids

Around the house.... many painted saint dolls from the exchange this weekend.  So cute.  I will have to post pictures.

One of my favorite things.... still, quiet mornings & cool weather

A few plans for the rest of my week....A park play date this morning, tomorrow piano lessons for the older boys, Wednesday PE class for older boys & a midwife appointment for me, Thursday Juliette has ballet, and Friday perhaps another park day.  This Saturday we're attending our homeschool's All Saint's Day party and Mass and Sunday I'm hoping to have some more fun All Saints Day activities for our children, perhaps a bonfire too.  Also hubby is going on a work trip Wednesday to Thursday.

A peek into my day.... Still dark and quiet.  Got up at 5 to make hubby breakfast and it's been very refreshing having some quiet/prayer/thinking time this morning.
