Boy am I happy it's Friday and that the weekend is finally here! But here I sit unmotivated, and tired and I have so much to do. :/ Maybe blogging will help me get excited and motivated! :) I have really missed blogging but so much has been going on! We are right in the middle of our 6 month birthday celebration period so maybe that can help explain some of it. Two birthdays down, 4 to go with Christmas in between.

I'm supposed to be packing because tomorrow we are headed down to Orlando for ALL of next week and weekend for some RR in the sun, and water, and disneyworld! My in-laws and brother-in-law are meeting us down there. It's going to be be great. We really need this mini vacation. The boys have been working so hard this past week doing two weeks worth of school and hubby is working hard putting the finishing touches on a paper. He will be spending the whole 9 days with us too! Granted, he will be bringing some work with him but still yay! OK, I feel motivated already!

This little guy has been walking about 95% of the time! He's 10 1/2 months old now. I can't believe he's almost 1! Tear. :( Maybe it's about time for another little Dilanji baby. :)

School has been going really well. We have one more week when we get back and we'll be done with our first quarter! Whoo-hoo! It's so much fun watching the kids learn. My Dad has been skyping with Elias & Aidan everyday teaching them phonics and working on their reading skills. He is using the same program he used with all seven of us growing up which we fondly referred to as "the blue book". It's been such a great addition to our schooling. Thanks Dad!

I think we are starting to feel a tad bit of fall in the air. Meaning, it gets down to 70 at night and twice it's been 68! Seriously, how sad is that? However, it has allowed us to take some nice morning jogs/bike rides in the morning before starting our day. I can't wait until it's jacket weather but that probably won't be for another month or two...

So, after two weekends in Orlando we will be camping the first weekend in October. I organized a homeschool family camping trip at a Fort Clinch on the east coast. There are going to be around 63 of us and only 20 of them are adults! That means 40+ kids! How awesome is that? It's going to be a blast! Fun at the beach, exploring the fort, and evenings around the campfire praying and playing music and singing. We can't wait!

Well, blogging and a cup of jo definitely helped me get back in the vacation zone! I'm off to do some packing. Here is where I will be staying next week if you need to get in touch with me. :)
Have a fantastic weekend!

Oh my - I'm so jealous!
ReplyDeleteI hope you can blog more - once you get back from vacay at first :)
And yes! A new Dilanji baby sounds like a great plan! :)
Please move back to Seattle one day. I'd love to be neighbors with you! (Sorry, kinda random, but it just seems like we have so much in common, I would love a good friend like you close by!)
