Monday Daybook

Today - September 17, 2012

Outside my window.... partly cloudy and warm.  50% chance or rain today.  We're still waiting for the fall weather to appear...

I am thinking... about how fast yet so slowly the time is flying by!  When the days keep passing by and we start a new week of school it seems fast.  Then when I think of how much further I still have to go in this pregnancy it seems so slow.  Funny how it works that way, isn't it?

I am thankful... for Gabe doing everything around the house yesterday so I could relax.  He made the meals, did the dishes, swept the floors and took care of the children.  Thanks to him I can actually walk today!  I am also so thankful that I didn't have any heartburn for the past couple days.  It's the little things! :)

From the schoolroom... We had a great school morning and started our 8th week.  Aidan is learning to write his name. 

 
From the kitchen... lots of leftover spaghetti from Juliette's birthday dinner that we'll be having for dinner tonight. 

I am crafting...  a cross stitch baby sampler to hang above Juliette's bed.  Almost finished!  Just need to add her name and birth date, and weight at birth. 

I am working on... filling in the boys baby books before this baby is born!  I also need to start Juliette's baby book.  I've kept almost all her stats. on my blog so I need to go back and find those. 

I am going... to be counting down the next two hours until hubby comes home.  :)

I am wondering... why Aidan and Juliette are taking such long afternoon naps today!?

I am hoping... my sister and brother will stay safe over in Italy.  They have been going on many fun side trips during the weekends to the surrounding countries.  I can't wait to hear all about it over Christmas break!

I am praying... for patience during this last month and a half of pregnancy.  I don't want to get too anxious or depressed over the 6 weeks I still have to go...

I am reading watching... Hubby and I are going to start watching the first season of Once Upon a Time via netflix tonight.

I am looking forward to... eating some egg rolls tonight.  I have been craving them for the past month or so!  Yum!

Around the house yard... the seeds are starting to pop up much to the boys excitement!  Elias is going to take pictures of the growing stages and maybe I'll have him put together a little report on it.  

One of my favorite things... Juliette coming up to me making kissing noises and asking for and giving kisses.  So sweet.  

A few plans for the rest of my week... Wednesday night is our first Catholic women's small group meeting!  We are going to pray the rosary and go out to dinner.  Thursday I'm watching my friend's kiddos for three hours and Saturday we are going to a birthday party. 

A peek into my day... laundry being washed and folded while I watched some of Little Men on netflix.  Also nailed down some more ideas for the boys' birthday party!
