Elias at 5 years old

I can't believe Elias is 5 years old already!  Elias can write his numbers up to 40 (probably farther, we just haven't tried) and can count to 100!  His favorite subject is math and he is also starting to read short words.  Elias also enjoys learning and listening to Daddy talk to him about science.  When he's not playing cars or trucks with his brothers, Elias can be found coloring, drawing or writing his numbers and letters.  He also enjoys playing dress-up and board games.  Elias's favorite food is cheese noodles, and he's pretty good about always eating his dinner.  At dinner he can not enjoy the rest of his food until the veggies or "bad tasting food" are consumed.  Clothes size for Elias is 5t but I'm sure it won't be long before he's wearing 6t.  I'm hoping we can stick 5t out a little longer since I stocked up on some winter 5t for him last spring when it was on sale.  Elias is also playing the violin and is playing the rhythm "Mississippi river" on open strings.  As Elias gets older he is becoming a bit more "bossy" with his brothers and likes to organize or make up the games they are playing.  Sometimes the other two go along with it and sometimes not so much.  Elias is always asking questions, what words mean and how things work.  He still likes to get hugs and kisses and enjoys being silly.  We love our big boy!
