Today - July 25, 2012

Outside my window... muggy, humid hot FL weather.....mostly cloudy too

I am thinking...  about our little baby and imagining what he/she will look like.  Only 3 more months!  I am so excited to have a newborn to cuddle and smell again.  :)


I am thankful...  That Gabe has been coming home for lunch this past week.  It is so nice to have a little help in the afternoons.


From the schoolroom...  Today was day three of school.  We are still plugging through this week even though I am still recovering from a bad cold (still got a cough and lots to blow) and the boys are taking turns with sore throats and fevers.  Juliette has it today too poor baby.  We may take school off the second week in August for VBS....haven't decided yet.  I just want to make sure we stay caught up so we can take a month or two off when the baby arrives.


From the kitchen...  Gabe just stalked up on groceries after I wrote out a meal plan for the rest of the week and part of next week.  Tacos tonight for dinner per Elias's request.


I am creating...  a wedding gift for my friend who is getting married this weekend!  I so wish I could be in attendance at her wedding but it's in WA state and it just didn't work out.  I should have started this gift a couple months ago, but I'm plugging away and hopefully it will be finished in a timely manner.


I am working on...  getting the junk drawer box sorted through and things inside put away.  It is the last box that needs to be unpacked!  We don't have a junk drawer in this house so I am going to try and organize everything in baskets in the hall closet.


I am going...  to try and find half way point to meet my Mom and sisters when they return from Europe.  My sister, Catherine who lives in WA desperately wants to see the kiddos!  We are thinking either EWTN or New Orleans.....


I am wondering...  where we will be when Gabe finishes grad school.  We have been thinking and talking about it a lot lately.  I know it's still two years away, but I'm sure the time will fly by and we are excited to see what God has in store for us.


I am hoping...  that we will all be feeling well enough this weekend to go to the beach!


I am praying... for my mom and two of my sisters who are in Europe.  The arrived there this morning!  I pray that they have a safe and wonderful month over there!


I am reading...  I just finished reading the book The Vow and I really enjoyed it.  Now I would like to watch the movie although I've heard the book is better.


I am looking forward to...  Mom's night out dinner that I organized for next Tuesday.  I desperately need a little break from normal routine.  


Around the house...  Curtains still need to be hung!  I'm just having a hard time deciding what to hang and where.  Hopefully we can figure that out soon......


One of my favorite things...  Nature's Own Thin mint cookies which Gabe got for me yesterday.  Can't wait to have one.  ;)


Pondering these words...  jibberish from Jewels.  She came over to me upset about something and then started trying to tell me what's going on.  I don't think she feels well.  :(


A few plans for the rest of my week...  school with the boys, caring for sick children, and midwife appointment Friday.
