8 1/2 months!

I have been getting behind lately in posting Juliette's monthly pictures!  She is getting so big and growing up so fast.  At 8 1/2 months Juliette is clapping!  She is also standing on her own.  She will be holding two toys and let go of the couch or chair and stand there for awhile chewing on her toys before she realizes that she's standing up by herself with no support and then she'll quickly plop down on her bottom.  Juliette also likes to carry things around in her mouth while she crawls to a different location.  It is quite amusing to see.  She says mama, dada, yay and hi and waves bye bye.  Juliette also likes to stick out her tongue.  When I laugh at something funny that she does, she keeps doing it to make me laugh again and will laugh along with me.  Juliette loves food and when she sees anyone eating, she crawls over quickly to be included in the food intake.  Juliette is now wearing size 6 to 12 and 12 months clothes.  Her diapers are size 3, and she weighs 20lbs.  She still naps twice a day and goes to bed around 8, sometimes waking once for a bottle and sometimes sleeping through the night.  She is such a happy little gal, and has a smile for most everyone as long as she's safe in mommy's arms.  (She has recently started crying when someone she doesn't know is holding her.)  She is a love bug and enjoys playing with her brothers and doesn't mind being toted around by them from room to room.  Her tooth count is still 2 but I think she'll be getting her top teeth in very soon!  Juliette also loves music and will bounce up and down when Mommy plays the violin.  If Mommy is playing the piano, she immediately rushes over to stand at the piano bench and listen.  She also loves to sing in church when everyone else is singing, or sing when she hears Mommy sing.  Juliette has been talking up a storm as well.  It's so cute to hear her little voice.
