Ahhhh

All four napping at the same time!  It is too nice and quiet!  Elias doesn't take naps every day but I could tell today he needed one and he did fall right asleep.  So I spent most of the time researching different homeschool materials and putting some books on hold at the library to browse through.

This week we are studying insects and today we talked about caterpillars and butterflies.  We read a few books and I happened to notice one of our five chrysalises was hatching!  The boys were enthralled.  It was perfect timing!  Now we are just waiting on the other four which shouldn't be too far behind.  We are hoping to see some fireflies this weekend.

In other news Juliette cut her first tooth yesterday!  She is so funny and keeps feeling it with her tongue.  She has been crawling everywhere and managed to get herself stuck on this box of clothes.  She is always making me laugh.  

My midwife appointment got post-poned until tomorrow due to the birth of another baby so I'll update everyone on our baby hopefully tomorrow!

Daddy asked the boys where we can see the real presence of Jesus and Elias said, "At Nana's House!"

The boys were acting out the crucifixion scene.  Elias & Aidan were the soldiers and Kieran was Jesus.  Aidan told Elias to get a cross and Elias said, "Aidan, I don't know where to get a cross!"  Aidan said, "get one at target!"

There was a huge pick-up truck next to our car at a stoplight and Elias said "look at that big truck!  It looks like a grandfather!"  

I was wearing my black heels with wrap-around laces to church on Sunday and Aidan exclaimed, "Mommy, your shoes look like David's in David & Goliath.  And then he went to pull at the movie cover to show me how they matched.  What do you think?
