Well it has been quite sometime since I last posted on my blog. I was vacuuming and just had a sudden urge to write down what has been going on, and our plans for the rest of the year, so here I am.
Right now I'm in the middle of cleaning up the house because my mother-in-law is coming to visit. We will pick her up in Orlando on Friday and spend the weekend in Orlando and Daytona Beach. She will be here for an indefinite amount of time as of now.
I am trying to plan a little All Saints Day party for our St. Anne's family group. I can't decide whether to have it on the 31st, 1 or 2nd. It would be nice to have it on the actual day after meeting for morning Mass. I am planning just a little party at one of the parks and having the children dress up as Saints and hope to have a few games. Elias is determined to be St. Francis again, Aidan is going to be St. John the Baptist (as of now; he keeps changing his mind) and Kieran will be St. Juan Diego.
Well, it will be November before we know it! Melissa and Andrew are planning to come up here for Thanksgiving which will be nice. I planned a St. Anne's family camping trip for the third weekend in November over on the east coast so we are looking forward to that. The boys can't wait to go camping again. I am hoping to plan a few more camping trips before it starts warming up again in the spring. For Christmas my parents are flying us all out to Texas for two weeks so I'm really excited about that. This will be the first time our family will be together in over two years! We are actually flying there on Christmas Day because I will have to play for Mass Christmas morning and we'll be staying until January 7th.
I have slowly been adjusting to having four children. Yesterday I took them all to Michaels craft store and that was quite interesting but it actually went much better than I thought it would. We started school Monday and I am using a program for Elias and Aidan called Little Saints- A Catholic preschool program. I really like it so far. I am also using the Image of God catechism for preschool. We do those three days a week and on the off days I have some Kumon workbooks which the boys are going through to learn their numbers and the alphabet. I wrote out a daily schedule which we haven't really been able to follow yet because so much else is going on. Basically I want to try and start meeting Gabe for daily mass at noon, and start getting to the gym in the morning so we'll see how that's going to work out.
Juliette will be 1 month old tomorrow! I can't believe how fast time flies. She is a doll and such a good baby. The boys absolutely adore her too which is so cute. Elias keeps asking if we are going to have more babies. We already have our next two girl names picked out (Gianna Rose & Therese Linda) and I hope we'll be able to have one or two more girls next. I definitely want Juliette to have some sisters.
Well, I have so much else to blog about but I best get back to house-keeping. Maybe I'll return at naptime and write part 2.
