Archery tournament

Today Elias & Aidan participated in their first little archery tournament.  It was required for all students in the class and the scores were kept and added.  Elias & Aidan did well and I really enjoyed being there to watch and see how it all worked.  Elias scored high enough to graduate to the next level.  He was awarded a certificate during the award ceremony later in the afternoon but we had already left.  The boys are hoping to continue with this sport and would like to do another session in September.  We are also part of a homeschool JOAD club SHEAF JOAD so the boys can participate in any of the upcoming tournaments at this facility.  If you take a look at the site you can see a close-up of the emblems on the boy's shirts - a monstrance and two quivers with arrows.  I am definitely looking forward to the next tournament.  Here are a few pictures from the day.
