Answer Me This

Finally writing a blog post and linking up with Kendra at Catholic All Year for Answer me this!

(please pardon the funky coloring with some of the writing!  I don't have time to fix it right now!)

1. How long have you lived in your current home?

We have been in our current house for almost 8 months.  It's a rental and our first one since we arrived back in So Cal.  It works well for our family for now (a bit on the small side) but I may have to get back to you once we make it through the summer with no AC.  Also, we have two fig trees in the back and one started dropping figs before they were really ripe and it was definitely a smelly, buggy, and disgusting two weeks out back.  :(  Hopefully after a tree trim tomorrow we will be in better shape for next year because we just signed a new 1 year lease!

2. How do you find out about news and current events?

Definitely Facebook.  Since I don't look up news articles, and we don't have cable, Facebook is it for me!

3. Would you be able to make change for a twenty right now? For a dollar?

Surprisingly, yes!  I actually have a bunch of cash on me.  My husband and I don't carry around cash too often, and when I don't have it I wish I did so I'm going to try and get in the habit of always having some on me.

4. What's the craziest food you've ever eaten?

I am definitely not a daredevil when it comes to eating strange foods.  I didn't have the guts to try gator when we lived in Florida.  So the craziest food that I have ever tried  has to have been an oyster I sampled when hubby (my then boyfriend) and I were on a date once.  It was SO GROSS!

5. Which of the commonly removed parts have you had removed? (tonsils, wisdom teeth, appendix, etc.)

Actually nothing.  The only thing I've had extracted was a baby tooth that never fell out because there was no adult tooth under it and it couldn't be repaired anymore.  I still need to get an implant!

6. What's your favorite sport to watch on TV?

The olympic winter sports, particularly ice skating.  So I would say I watch sports on TV about every four years.  ;)

  1. I love watching ice skating, too. When I think about how hard it is for me just to remain upright on ice skates, I am blown away by what the figure skaters can do. But watch out: it's a gateway sport to watching rhythm gymnastics, which is also mind-blowing. :)
