The two week count down to Christmas is on! This week I'll be busy keeping the house in order, doing some last minute Christmas shopping, practicing music for the 4th Sunday in Advent, school with the boys, and planning some Christmas baking. Thursday I'm taking the boys to see the Nutcracker on campus and Friday we're going to Legoland for the first time. I know the boys are going to love it. My sister and her hubby will also be meeting us there which is going to be so much fun! I also need to give my hubby a haircut too because he's starting to get a fro!
We're leaving Christmas day for Texas and we'll be there for two weeks! It's going to be great! Can't wait to be with the family again. I already got our suitcases down and have family gifts wrapped and ready to go. With such a big family, two weeks to slowly pack should be just about right.
Props go to my hubby who just submitted his first paper to the Journal of the American Chemical Society. I'm so proud of him and praying that it'll get published. Now he is working hard on a scholarship application that needs to be submitted by Thursday. He's really looking forward to having a vacation.
The boys are enjoying all the Christmas prep. We have our tree all spruced out and decorated and I've been enjoying the delicious pine smell. Most of the gifts are already wrapped and under it too. The children's nativity scenes are out and getting good use from the boys.
Well I have a bunch more to say but that will have to wait for another time because I still need to finish folding the laundry and put it away and plan the boys lessons before going to bed. Juliette was so fussy all day (I think gassy) so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked. But that's how it goes, good days and bad days. However, someone must have been praying for me especially today because I was very calm and collected although it was quite chaotic over here. Thank you Jesus for giving me the peace and grace to persevere!
Laura,
